Assistant Professor
Dr. Cathrine Konopatsch is Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Law at OpenUni Suisse. She received her doctorate on the topic ‘The Law and Practice of Austrian Antitrust Enforcement - A Critical Analysis in the Light of National and European Competition Law Dogmatics and Policy’ from the University of Graz, Austria, and at the University for Continuing Education Krems, Austria, she completed a postgraduate degree in European Law.
Cathrine Konopatsch's research focuses in particular on asset recovery, national, European and international economic and corporate criminal law, and comparative criminal law.
In addition, Prof. Dr. Cathrine Konopatsch, MLaw Isabelle Baumann, Dr. iur. Martin Brandenstein and MLaw Patrick Uhrmeister work on various publications and conference contributions in the areas of whistleblowing, industrial espionage, corporate criminal law and asset forfeiture.
